Sichuan Province: Known by some as the “Province of Abundance”, Sichuan is China’s fifth largest province and is home to some 87 million people. Covering a geographic area four times larger than Washington State, the province is a key center for agricultural production, heavy industry, aerospace, IT, hydropower and textiles.  Washington State and Sichuan Province in southwest China have recently celebrated 32 years of official relations through the Relationship of Friendship.
