Join the World Affairs Council, Trade Development Alliance and Washington State China Relations Council for a presentation and discussion on business development in Sichuan Province, China.  We will be hosting a delegation from the chambers of commerce in the province who will offer an update on the current state of affairs on business and the market conditions in their respective cities.

Mr. Liu Xiangchao is the Deputy Director for Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce. He also serves as the deputy director of logistics for Sichuan People’s Government, responsible for promoting the development of the logistics industry in Sichuan.

Sichuan Province: Known by some as the “Province of Abundance”, Sichuan is China’s fifth largest province and is home to some 87 million people. Covering a geographic area four times larger than Washington State, the province is a key center for agricultural production, heavy industry, aerospace, IT, hydropower and textiles.  Washington State and Sichuan Province in southwest China have recently celebrated 32 years of official relations through the Relationship of Friendship.
