Poland–US business relationships continue to grow and open up new opportunities, particularly in the area of aviation and high tech industries. This program will explore Trade and Business Development landscape and showcase why Poland is an attractive partner in strategic areas of investment. Representatives from special economic zone created in Eastern Poland will introduce key industries emerging in their region, particularly related to Aviation and High Tech industries.
The program will include 45 minutes of presentations followed by Q&A and discussion. A reception and networking will follow. Representatives will also be available for Business to Business meetings.
Pawel Pietrasienski, Head of the Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington, DC. Doctor of Economics, Assistant Professor in the Department of Market and Marketing of the Warsaw School of Economics. Previously, Deputy Consul General and Consul of the Republic of Poland to Chicago; Advisor and then Counselor to the Prime Minister in the Departments of Foreign Affairs and Civil Service in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland; member of the Board of Governors in the European Institute of Public Administration in Maastricht; Polish Representative to the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Public Governance Committee in Paris.
Bozena Czaja, Vice President and Member of the Management Board (Finances, Logistics and Regional Development) of Polish Agency of International Investment in Warsaw, Poland. Previously help positions at ministerial and executive level in Poland and consular representative abroad. Graduate of University of Warsaw.
