Join us for a panel discussion on Turkey with experts on Turkey’s overall business environment as well as the aerospace, energy, infrastructure and commercial sectors. At this program you will receive an in-depth update on the state of Turkey’s economy and learn about sectors for potential growth. Greg Pepin, recently retired after serving as the Vice President responsible for coordinating all Boeing activities and efforts in Turkey from 1999 to October of 2012, will speak on the general business climate, the aerospace sector and his experiences working in Turkey for the past decade. Our other panelists will address economic trends, infrastructure projects, Turkey’s relationship with the EU and specific commercial opportunities.
The economic relationship between Turkey and the U.S. has strengthened over the past five years, and there is untapped potential for growth. Turkey’s government understands the value in building international relationships and has established a commercial office in Seattle to facilitate economic connections between the Pacific Northwest and Turkey.
One sector ready for development is clean and sustainable energy technology. Over the last decade Turkey has seen energy demands double and they foresee this demand growing in the future.
